Fuji has a "random" type sensor (X-trans) that looks like it gets rid
of a lot of sensor artifacts:

What I actually started to look up was the Fuji Supper CCD sensor, and I
also see on this page Sony has an extra sensor (Emerald) in some of theirs;

So, are any of these going to take over the world?

I got noise in hair when I used a bayer pattern camera with a 20 year
old version of input transform maker from Kodak
